About the Host
Dr. Lindsay Kwock Hu is a speaker, educator, and former professor whose work has consistently focused on amplifying the creativity, leadership, and resilience of diverse communities. She created Lead-To-Learn©, a culturally responsive leadership experience where high school students tackled real community issues—from designing tiny home prototypes for unhoused veterans of color to building hydroponic microfarms to combat food insecurity.
Throughout her career, Lindsay has remained grounded in the belief that honoring cultural, social, and historical contexts creates the most powerful conditions for learning and growth. Now, as the host of Peace Together©, she shares her personal experiences as an Asian American woman learning to see her past as a source of strength while reconstructing a more authentic self. She humbly offers this space to explore transformation, redefine identity, and move toward peace—piece by piece.
Lindsay earned her undergraduate degree in Economics from UCLA and her Doctorate in Educational Leadership from the University of Southern California. She lives in Los Angeles with her husband, Mike, and their three young children.
