Burned Out, But Everything Looked Fine
with Lindsay Kwock Hu
Do you struggle to rest?
In this solo episode, Lindsay shares her personal journey out of severe burnout in 2024 and the turning point that helped her reconnect with what she truly wanted from life. Rather than offering a checklist or formula, she explores why meaningful change must be deeply personal, shaped by context, capacity, and values. Through therapy and an unexpected commitment to running, Lindsay discovered how physical movement created the mental and emotional clarity she had long been missing – helping her hear her inner voice, redefine success, and begin restructuring a life that no longer honored her.
This episode is an invitation to reflect on what you need right now, and to consider how small, context-aware shifts – especially movement – can unlock profound change.

“When your life does not honor you, it becomes incredibly difficult to show up for the people you love.”

What you learn in this episode:
Meaningful change is deeply personal and must be shaped by your context, capacity, and life circumstances – not someone else’s blueprint.
Burnout is not a personal failure, but a signal that the way your life is structured may no longer be honoring you.
Physical movement can create emotional and mental clarity by helping you access feelings, values, and desires that are often buried under stress.
Listening to what you want requires space, routine, and permission to feel without judgment.
Sustainable change begins with one grounded action – often movement – that opens the door to deeper shifts over time.
