About

Combining academia and authenticity for real-world impact.

Dr. Lindsay is dedicated to empowering teachers, and thus students, to create a more just and equitable society.

She has spent over two decades of her career studying the curricular and instructional strategies that best enable students to develop their problem-solving, creative and critical thinking skills.  As a career educator and professor of education, she has trained teachers around the world to teach the strategies embedded in problem-based learning.

This experience and her passion for equity inspired the launch of Lead-To-Learn©, a problem-based learning experience where she helps schools co-create and implement these impactful experiences.

She lives in Los Angeles with her husband Mike and their three young children, Sloane, Owen and Axel.

Fostering engagement with the students’ community broadens their worldview as well as connects them to their role in the world. This provides students with a tangible, accessible means to see their potential impact.
